The Nikola Tesla Patent Producers
 

We are able to work through ambiguity by providing an organized schedule and list of goals for our group. A / the central ambition of our group is to author and submit a provisional patent. An activity that we did as a group to work through the ambiguity was having everyone at meeting write a list of five goals they want to accomplish through this group. These goals were collectively organized into a master list and were discussed at one of our meetings. Having these common expectations as a group has helped us move forward and encourages us to keep shooting for the stars.

The group is designed to bring together engineering, law, and business students, and to inspire and empower them to work together to invent, patent and sell products. It provides members with hands-on engineering experience and real world problem solving skills.


A recent project was the building of a high energy, high frequency Tesla Coil. This project is a great example of one unique experience members received during our Friday night meetings last semester. We provide an innovative environment on Friday nights where students can network, build, and think together to create something of their own.
